WXK FOR AUSTRALIAN WOMEN ALL-STARS BEATEN. SAN FRANCISCO, November 16. The Australian women's hockey team on Sunday defeated, at the Northern Galifornian Field, Berkeley, a Key Association all-star team by 31 goals to 2. The visiting players bewildered the Americans by clever wrist passing at crucial moments and they had an almost impenetrable defence. * Knight scored five goals, WinBpear three and Hcßae two. Pearce wa injured in the match, tearing the ankle ligaments when she fell on the wet turf, and was earned from the 1 field. The manager of the Australian team reported that it had given a sjjleudid j performance throughout the tour.
