DISABLED SOLDIERS.
! I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the "Star" for its valuable help and publicity given to our cause in the interests of justice to war pensioners. Your help in publishing various letters on the subject was instrumental in focusing attention on our plight and your report on our highly successful meeting was a fair and impartial one. In conclusion, let me assure all disabled soldiers of our determination to leave no stone unturned to get justice for ieach and all .who are applying for pensions or increases in same. It is hoped very'soon to establish our headquarters in a central part of the city, where our hardworking secretary can be consulted at on matters relating to pensions, etc. To those few diggers who are disappointed because the organisation w>as not confined to members of the N.Z.E.F. let me say "Don't be insular; after all, no matter where we came from, we all fought for the same dear old flag, and remember 'Unity is strength,' and we can only get that strength by enlisting the support of all returned men." FRANK G. E. BROAD, President, Auckland Disabled Soldiers' Association.
