OBITUARY.
MR. G. R. MOORE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) . GISBORNE, this day. Mr. George Robert Moore, aged 81, who, prior to his resignation eighteen months ago, had been chairman of directors of the Kia Ora Dairy Company for 25 years, is dead. Mr. Moore arrived in New Zealand when' he was 21 and entered the drapery business in Xnpier fifty years ago. He then joined a similar business in Gisborne. Branching out into farming, he became a leading Jersey breeder in the district.
