RECEPTION ON THURSDAY. The civic reception to Sir James" P^ rr ' former Higli Commissioner for - e Zealand in London, will now he helt o Thursday. Sir James is returning t>y the liner Eangitata, which is due m Auckland to-morrow morning, and reception is to be tendered to him a the Town Hall Council Chamber at 12.10 p.m. the following day. At 12.45 p.m. on Thursday Sir James will be the guest of honour at a welcome home luncheon to be given by the Auckland Grammar School Old Boys' Association in the reception hall at Milne and Chovce, Ltd. He will give an address on inteinational affairs.
