GOOD COMPANIONS.
' .The Good Companions Club held its weekly social at Unity Hall on Thursday. There was the usual good attendance of members and an enjoyable evening was spent. Excellent music was supplied by Mr. Jacobs, violinist, and Mr. Williams, the blind pianist. The games and competitions were arranged, by Mrs. Godsell, vice-president, Miss Keii, and Mrs. Fagan. Mrs. Grier's singing was much appreciated. Air. Metcalfe also sang. The prize-winners were Mrs. Hutton, Miss B. Mylett and Mr. •W. Mylett. The hostesses were Mrs.' McFadgen and Miss Keen. An excellent supper was provided by Mrs. Reeves. Mr. Russell, the president, worked energetically to make the social a success.
