FOUR INJURED.
GARS HEAD-ON COLLISION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Friday. Four people were admitted to the hospital following a head-on collision near the Tomoana showgrounds. They are: Miss Gertrude Smith, of Napier, serious head injuries; Miss Noeline Wilson, of Hastings, serious head injuries; Mr. William Goodall, of Hastings, cut on. forehead; and Mr. Robert Ward, of Hastings, braises and abrasions. The victims were all in one car, which swerved to avoid a cyclist and collided with a car coming in the opposite direction. Both cars were badly damaged.
