MODEL OF ORION.
EXHIBITION IN AUCKLAND. A magnificent model of the Orient liner Orion is on view on the first floor 01 the premises of -Messrs. !Milne and Cho) Limited. The model, which is the largest ever seen in New Zealand, is niouute in a glass case measuring 15ft 6in length by 6ft in height and 3ft 6in width, the whole exhibit weighing nearly IV2 tons. A remarkably fine specimen 0 the handicraft of the specialists who constructed it, the model, built to scale, 1 complete in every external detail of tiie ship and is superbly finished. , The Orion, which will visit Auckland 011 October 28 in the course of a cruise from Australia, is the latest addition to the fleet of the Orient Line, and was completed last August. Built by VickersArmstrong, Limited, at Barrow-in-Fur-ness, the ship was launched by wireless by the Duke of Gloucester, who was in Brisbane at the time.
