THEFT OF £250 ADMITTED
COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRTSTCHURCH, this day. Described as a sliarebroker and salesman, William Wallace McClelland, aged 52, pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to a charge of the theft of £250 on about November 2. The accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. It was announced in Court that the original theft charge on which he was extradited from Sydney would be heard on November 17.
