YACHT SOUBRETTE.
RETURNING TO AUCKLAND. DEPARTURE FROM SUVA. The 45-foot auxiliary yacht Soubrette, which left Auckland on September 16, and arrived at Suva on September 28 after a passage of just under 12 days, sailed from Suva at noon on Saturday on her return to Auckland. The Soubrette is in charge of her owner, Mr. Mills Palmer, who has with him Messrs. E. E. Hay, R. Wellington, J. McDell and J. Ross. All are experienced Auckland yachtsmen. It was the intention of the crew to spend only two weeks cruising in the Fiji group, as they expected to be back in Auckland in six or seven weeks from the date of departure. If the yacht mak<?s an equally good passage on the run down she should arrive about Wednesday, October 21.
