QUEEN CARNIVAL RESULT.
FI«ACINGS AT HAMILTON. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Miss Mavis Bailey, the Transport Queen, was elected queen of the carnival arranged to raise funds for the Hamilton Citizens Band. Miss Ann Shirley, the Sports Queen, was second, Miss Ann Watu, the Maori Queen, third, and Miss Eileen Sweeney, the Business Queen fourth. The net proceeds are in the vicinity of 1 £200.
