DOCTOR RESIGNS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The resignation of Dr. G. H. Robertson, who recently was appointed assistant ' medical superintendent, was received at a special meeting of the Wellington Hospital Board to-day. The resignation was accepted, and the board unanimously resolved to appoint Dr. J. Cairney, of Lower Hutt, to the position, subject to the approval of the Minister of Health.
