GLARING HEADLIGHTS.
"•Leicester" writes: "I would like, per ! tIW medium of the 'Star,' to place before the public an idea which would assist a motorist to actually find out for himself if his headlights are properly adjusted, so as to cause the minimum of glare to the on-coming motorist. One- or two leading garages could have a large mirror so arranged that a car driving in the entrance would have the headlights so reflected ~as to appear to them just as they would to a passing driver. I feel sure this would give quite a few motorists, new car owners included, a surprise, and so help to do away with one of the evils of night driving."
