FOOTBALL DINNER.
RICHMOND ROVERS. The members of the senior team of the Richmond Rovers Football Club, together with their partners, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. McClymont at a dinner held at the Commercial Hotel on Saturday evening last. At the conclusion of the dinner the party journeyed to the Titirangi kiosk, where an enjoyable evening was spent, the host and hostess being Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Swift. The time was passed in dancing, and several songs were rendered by Mrs. Len Matthews, Mrs. A. E. Cooke being the accompanist. During the evening the. members presented to Mr. and Mrs. Noel Bickerton a set of cutlery to mark the occasion of their marriage. Miss A. Willis and Mr, W. Telford were also the recipients of a set of cutlery in view of their approaching marriage. Among those present were: Mesdames B. W. Davis, T. A. McClymont, W. A. Swift, W. R. Dick, A. E. Cooke, S. Prentice, H. Tetley, W. Tittleton, C. Satherley, R. Hyland, 0. Wilkie, J. A. McGregor, R. Powell, E. Mincham, N. Bickerton, L. Matthews, J. Porteous, M. Metcalfe, W. Porteous, and Misses A. Willis, W. Davis, A. Purdie, Bowen, Reynolds and Johnstone.
