CAMBRIDGE ANNUAL FIXTURE. FIRST DAY'S RESULTS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, Monday. The Cambridge Competitions Society's fourteenth annual festival was commenced to-day. The prospects for a successful event are bright, • the entries being a rccord. ■ . This evening the festival was officially opened by the Mayor, Mr. C. H. Priestley, with whom was associated the president, Mr. F. R. Wooldridge. The adjudicators are: Musical section, Mr. H. S. Claughton (Nelson); elocution section, Mr. J. R. Lester (Christchurch); dancing, Miss Bettina Edwards (Auckland). Results:— Vocal Classes. Duet, ladies or gentlemen, own. selection. —Miss A. Burton and Mr. H. Leddy (Hamilton), and Mesdames V. (J.
