She worked well. The Baralong— Ednaver colt and Lady Meath completed three furlongs in 38s. They finished together. On the outside were Gay Seton and Gay Sister, who were on terms at the end of half a mile in 525. Prince Rangi and the Oration—Rarakau gelding took 53 l-ss. Quadroon, who has thrown off his soreness, was galloped, but oil account of the fog could be timed. 4 Qn the inner plough were White Flower, Tonnerre, Superior Guard, Torch, Maxow'n, Ngakaru, Magic Land, Illuminagn, Sweet Rose, Besiege and Musquil.
