ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.
ANNUAL INSPECTIONS MADE. The re-examination of the Mount. Albert division of 'the St. John Ambulance Brigade was recently conducted by the district surgeon, Dr. Neil McDougall, all members passing the test. The annual inspection was carried out by the assistant commissioner, Mr. F.J. Hutchinson, who was accompanied by the district superintendent, Mr. A. W. Probert, and the district officer, Mr. U. Hitchon. The commissioner congratulated the division on its smart appearance. Opportunity was taken to present Dr.-T. H. Pettit with his warrant as divisional surgeon, and also to present medallions. The annual inspection of the Auckland Nursing Division and Auckland Cadet Nursing Division was recently held, when, the divisional superintendent, Miss V. Lindesay, presided over 100 members. J.ne inspection was conducted by the Assistant Commissioner, with him the corps superintendent, Mrs. E. Cammell. Ambulance offices Miss Joyce Surman was presented with her warrant of appointment. Ine Mayoress, Mrs. E. Davis, who was recently appointed president of the division, and Lady Linton were present. were presented to the . Mayoress and to Mrs. Cammell. ■
