New Zealand Compared With Australian. "EXCELLENT," "QUITE NICE." (Received 11.30 a.m. 5 CANBERRA, this day. Although the Commonwealth Government, according to the Commonwealth veterinary officer in London, Mr. H. Tinney, is actively extending its policy of shipping chilled instead of frozen beef to London, the quality remains lower than that of some competitors -in the meat market. Mr. Tinney says that undue optimism is not warranted when the results achieved by the Commonwealth are compared with those obtained by New Zealand exporters. He describes Australian beef as "quite nice" and New Zealand beef as "excellent."
