WAGES AND THE FARM.
In reply to "A Small Farmer's Wife," I think slie must be working at the wrong end of the stick. Surely with prices as they & re a farmer can afford to pay a decent wage; but perhaps she is one of those •'work for your tucker" people. If the cows are only 23 to 30 in number and she can't make a do she wants to alter her' farming methods. R e wearing other people's clothes, that is not tins Government's doing , . It has only been in office nine months. Good luck to the farm hand if he gets his ten-guinea euit. The Government lias made a difference to fiome peoples ■positions. A FARM LABOURER'S WIFE.
