Alderman, of Derbyshire) from Christmas until the end of February. However, the time was all too short for the young players to receive adequate instruction, but it was hoped to see an improved standard of play in the forthcoming season as a result of his efforts, as good work had been done by liim during the time at his dirposal.
appeared to be troubled by the'bends and broke along the back the last time. Dick Redmond was not bustled to complete his mile in 2.43. The Australian-bred trotter is showing distinct promise in his work and should not disgrace himself when required to race. Manna's Son is fining down a lot as the result of plenty of solid jogging, and the little trotter looks well. He will probably make his next appearance at Epsom this month.
