The first issue by the Pest and Telegraph Department of distinctive stamps to mark its recognition of the impurt- . ance of the congress, of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the British Empire, which opens in Wellington this week, was made at Auckland. to-day; It is anticipated that there will bo a keen demand for. the stamps, particu-j larly by the delegates attending the I conference and philatelists. j
