There was a full attendance of shippers, tanners and fellmongers at the fortnightly sale of hides, sheepskins and tallow held at the Parnell stores yesterday. Hides were in keen demand for all classes. Dry and salted sheepskins were unchanged and tallow was firmer Quotations: — Sheepskins.—Dry: Halfbred and fine crossbred, to 1014 cl per lb; medium crossbred, Bto 914 d; coarse crossbred, 7%d to B%d; half to three-quarter wool, B'/ad to 9%d; quarter to half wool, 7'/id to 8d; lambs, B%d to 9%d.
