CHRISTCHURCH, this day. 1 The Stock Exchange showed little life . ut this morning's call, though there had , been good activity yesterday afternoon and a number of late sales reported to-day. Bidding, however, lacked strength. The main features included a jump of Cd in Goldsbrough. Morts, to £1 13/3, and a recovery in Dunlops to 18/6 and 18/8. | Until the miscellaneous section was reached, only minor alterations were made in quotations. Kaiapoi Woollens had unsupported sellers at 17/, paids at 15/10, and contributings were quoted between 6/2 and 6/5. Industrials were steadily quoted. Hume Pipes (Australia) improving with a final market from 19/6 to 19/11. The mining was more active, Gillespie's reaching 1/5 in reported sales, while Nemonas held to 1/.10.
