CHORAL CONTEST DECIDED.
DUNEDIN STUDENTS' WIN. (By Telegraph.—rress Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. In the presence of an audience of over 200, the Dunedin Competitions Society's choral contest was decided this evening. There were seven entries, including choirs from Oainaru, Timaru and Cnris'--church. and the prizes ollered amounted tn £140, with a first prize of £100.
The awards of the judges, Mr. Ad~>'.ph, I of Trinity College, London, Mr. Victor) C. Peters, of C'hristchurch, and Mr. | Claude H. Davis, of Christchureh, wenas follow:—Mr. Ernest Drake's stn dents' Choir (Dunedin), 203 points, I Mr. John T. leech's Lyric Choir (Dune, din), 201 points. 2; Cliristchurch Orpheus Choir, 257 points, 3. )
