CUSTOMS OFFENDER.
INDIAN MERCHANT IN FIJI,

SUVA, August 27
On Monday an Indian merchant named C. J. Patel was presented at the Police Court 011 a charge of wrongfully entering 2.5 dozen bottles of perfumed spirits as°hair oil. He pleaded not guilty but was fined £50 or three months in gaol Mr. R. Cromptoin, K.C.. who appeared for the accused, gave notice of appeal.
