ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. i VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND. a> (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Monday. Arrangements for the visit of an English Association football team to New Zealand next year were advanced a further stage to-night by the decision of the Council qf the New Zealand Football Association to negotiate with Australia to take part of the '°A cablegram was read from the Football Association, London, agreeing to visit >>ew Zealand in 1037. Provisional arrangements had been made, the message stated, to leave on the Chitral on April 'M. The council adopted the finance committee's recommendation to cable the Australian Association, which is ilnderstood to 1)0 anxious to take four weeks of the nUie weeks' tour. The cost to Australia would Fraser's resignation from the council because of pressure of other activities was accepted with regret. Canterbury was granted permission to play Otago at Dunedin.on Saturday for the Football Association Trophy.
