The decision might go cither way, but whatever happens the spectators can be assured of a bright exlubition of the code. Manukau who are at the head of the ladder, will try conclusions with Newton, on No. 2 ground, and on form should emerge the victors, Newton, however, can be relied on to fully extend their opponents. Ihe curtain-raiser to the main game will be supplied by Richmond and City, while Ponsonby and Devonport will figure in the early game on the No. 2 ground.
