HOLLAND MEMORIAL.
LIFE THROUGH THE AGES. HOX. W. XASH VISITS STUDIO. The Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Xash, made a visit yesterday to the studio of Mr. R. O. Gross, the Auckland sculptor, who is engaged on the sculptural work for the memorial to the late Mr. H. E. Holland, the former Labour party leader. The sculpture depicts the climb of human life through the ages and man's relation to industry. The work, which is now well in hand, is a striking addition to memorial art in Xew Zealand.
