AUCKLAND CLUB. Overhead conditions .were ideal for thi Auckland Cycle Club's road events at Panmure on Saturday, when both junior and senior races were held over the circuit. Fields were well up to the usual standard, there being 3S starters in all. Sixteen started in the junior event of 131 milts over four laps of the circuit. Result : A. McLachlan (1.45), time 38.24, 1: C. Stanaway (1.45), time 38.25, 2; H. Fletcher (1.0), time 37.41, 3; \V. Cougliey (1.0), time 37.42, 4. Les. Mitchell (scr) recorded fastest time in 37.20. Twenty-two lined up for the senior contest of lGi miles over five laps. Result: W. White (7.0), time 40.40, 1; R. Thow (0.20), 40.3, 2; D. King (4.0), 47.2, 3; A. Mackrell (5.0), 48.4, 4. W. Pratney (scr) recorded fastest time in 45.37. GLOUCESTER CLUB. A 10J-mile race held at Mangere by the Gloucester Cycling Club resulted: —R. Shearing (1.30), 52.50. 1; J. Bicknell (1.30), 52.501, 2; J. Sheehan (1.30), 52.51, 3; A. Kerr (2.30), 53.52, 4. Fastest time, Shearing.
