MISHAP FOLLOWS A TACKLE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOTJTH, Saturday. A fractured leg below the knee was received by John Beban, a South Island League player and captain of the Marist senior club, in a match with Waratahs (Reefton) to-day. The accident followed a tackle. Beban was admitted to tlie Grey. Hospital.
