MASONIC CLUB,
At tlie annual meeting of the Auckland Masonic Institute and Club last night a successful year's activity was reported in the 45th annual report. The net profit was £351. Liabilities were small and liquid assets substantial, it was stated. The club's Wyndham Street property had been sold, and a new lease of its present premises had been effected on better terms.
Referring to social work the report detailed assistance that had been given during the year to the sick and needy. _ Concert parties had been taken to the Epsom Infirmary, Evelyn Firth Home and the Auckland Hospital. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Viscount Gal way; president. Mr. W. H. Bartlett; immediate past prescient, Mr. H. T. Gibson; vice-presidents. Messrs. E. V. Sutherland. E. O'Hara. D. G. Thornton; treasurer, Mr. J. Smith: committee. Messrs. Tt. T. Sheppard, P. W„ Pea to. E. A. Blomfifcld, A. G. Lowry, 11. Thompson.
