MAORI MATCH OFF.
SAILING DATE UNALTERED.
' The business manager of the English Rugby League team, Mr. R. F. Anderton, received a cable from the English Rugby League to-day, stating that it had been found impossible to cancel the passages' or transfer the team to sail at a later date, and consequently a match against a Maori team, which it had been suggested should be played after the second Test match at Auckland, cannot be arranged. The English team will leave as scheduled by the liner Akaroa immediately after the second Test match to-morrow week.
