TRAWLERS' APPLICATION.
CITING FURTHER PARTIES,
In Conciliation Council before Mr. P. Hally, commissioner, to-day, the Auckland Federated Seamen's Industrial Union of Workers met employers in an application for an industrial award for workers in the trawling industry. The hearing was taken in committee, and it was afterwards announced that an adjournment had been made until August 14, in order that the union might make application to add other parties°to the dispute.
For the union Messrs. T. F. Anderson (secretary), F. A. Trainer, R. Smith and J. H. Wade appeared. Mr. W. E. Anderson acted as agent for the employers' assessors, who comprised at to-day's hearing Captain R. C. Hammond and Messrs. A. F. Jagger and J. J. En wright, all members of the firm of Sanford, Limited.
