LABOUR DISRUPTION.
AMERICAN UNIONS SUSPENDED

WASHINGTON, August 6.
The Council of the American Federation of Labour ordered to be suspended within 30 days unions headed by the president of the Mine Union, Mr. Lewis, with a membership of 1,000,000, unless he dissolves the so-called committee of industrial organisation, which was formed to further industrial as against craft unionisation within the federation. The council said it could not tolerate existence of a rival organisation. The dispute threatens disruption of the federation.
