AVENUES OF TREES.
OPOTIKI'S ARBOR DAY,

OPOTIKI, Thursday.
Arbor Day was celebrated at Opotiki by the planting of an avenue of trees in St. John Street. Those present included Mr. G. S. IVfoody (Mayor), the members of the Borough Council and County Council, and high school children. Mr. Moody planted the first tree., Unemployed relief workers planted 30 trees in Potts Avenue.
