An entertainment was held in the King's Theatre at Northcote last night in aid of the funds of the local boy scouts. Community singing was held, the song leader being Mr. Frank Broad and the accompanist Mrs. Barrington Snow. Individual items were contributed by lime. Letitia Parry (soprano), Mr. R. .T. Parry (baritone), Mr. Tex Doyle (cowboy songs, yodelling and guitar and mouth organ) and a mouth organ band. A picture programme followed.
