The Nemona Dredge (West Coast), after adjustments and alterations, resumed operations last week and expects to wash up to-morrow. MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Mount Lyell (Tasmania). — Fortnight ended July 22. North Mount Lyell: Tons extracted, 5337. ltoyal Tliarsis: Tons I extracted, 2417. West Lyell: Tons extracted, I 14,524. Prince Lyell: Tons extracted. 1113. Lyell Comstock: Tons extracted, 3855, No.' 7 level, No. 2 mullock pass rise to 28ft j through ore. No. 8 level, north drive to 17ft through ore; work then suspended: i main shaft sunk to 30ft below No. 3 level I through porphyry. Reduction works: Fur- | naee in blast for full period. 0312 tons I refinery anodes produced for current year. 1 Concentrator: -Mill operated 310 hours and treated 20..883 tons, producing 2344 tons [ concentrates.
