THAMES GIRLS' CLUB.
The Thames Girls' Club held its monthly reunion at the Druids' Hall, North Street, Newton, on Tuesday evening. Mrs. J. Hubber, president, was in the chair and Mrs. Bowyer, vicepresident, was also present. A musical programme was rendered, the following artists performing: — June Chermside (recitations), Betty Chermside (recitations), Mrs. Turner, Mrs. McKeller, Mrs. Norman (sketches); Mr. Turner (songs, accompanied by Mr. Lambert); Mr. Lambert (pianoiftrte solos). Competitions were won by Mrs. Nicholls and Mr. Lambert. Committee member", present were: Mesdames H. Stubbing (convener), H. Thorburn (treasurer), W. S. Miller (secretary), G. Andrews, L. Nicholls, Davison, McPherson. I. Wripht and Misses C. E. Wilton, Kathleen Kowlin.i. •' J
