BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
AUCKLAND CROQUET CLUB.
A successful bridge afternoon was given by the members of t'he Auckland Croquet Club in the Penwomen's Club rooms. The guests were received by Mrs. A. Carter, president, Mrs. M. D. Hollis, secretary, and Mesdames Mooney, Shanley and Newman. Auction and contract bridge were played and an enjoyable afternoon was spent.

The prize for contract bridge donated by Mrs. B. Moonoy (vice-president) was won by Mrs. W. Burritt. The prize for auction bridge donated by Mrs. Newman was won by Mrs. Claude Allen.
