FARMER'S COLLAPSE.
BODY FOUND NEAR HAYSTACK. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) EOTORUA, this day. While working near a haystack at the back of his farm at Ngongotaha on Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Jasper Samuel Hinton, aged 70 years, collapsed, and when found later was dead. Mr. Hinton apparently left the house to feed out hay, and as he had not returned at dusk concern was felt for his safety. His daughter called Mr. Dalbeth, a neighbouring farmer, and after a search had been conducted they found Mr. Hinton's body alongside the haystack. He was a well-known farmer in the Ngongotaha district, where he had been resident for about 12 years. He was born at Hamilton and was farming in the Waikato prior to going to Gisborne, where he conducted a sheep station. In 1916 he retired, and for about six years lived in Auckland, but then decided to recommence farming on a property at Ngongotaha. He is survived by his "widow, a son, Mr. A. H. Hinton, and one daughter, Miss Edna Hjnton. J
