NORFOLK ISLAND TROUBLES
(Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Minister of External Affairs, Sir George Pearce, replying to a statement made in Auckland by Mr. Henry, M.L.A., regarding the .economic conditions of Norfolk Island, said that the Commonwealth Government could not be blamed for the difficulties of the island fruitgrowers, which were caused by New Zealand's embargo on Australian fruit.
