Mr. C. G. Macindoe will leave for Wellington thi,s evening by the Limited on liis way to Cliristcluirch.
Mr. Norman Davis, a 1934 New Zealand Rhodes Scholar, has passed the Oxford B.A. examination with first-class honours, according to cabled advice received by his family.
Mr. C. L. Butchers, general secretary of the Pharmaceutical Association of Australia and New Zealand, is visiting Wellington in connection with the New Zealand pharmaceutical scheme. He will leave Auckland for Sydney by the Mariposa on Friday.
Dr. J. F. Bradbtirv, formerly of Masterton and Otago University, lias passed tlie examinations for membership of tlie Royal College of Physicians, London. He expects to return to New Zealand next year. Dr. Bradiiury is an old boy of Sacred Heart College, Auckland.
Dr. Pascoe Goard, vice-president of the British Israel World Federation, London, left by ear to-day for Waitomo Caves, and will join the Limited at Te Kuiti to-night for Wellington. Dr. Goard is receiving a civic and Parliamentary reception in Wellington to-morrow.
