COMPULSORY MEMBERSHIP.

PALMERSTON NORTH, Tuesday,
Ihe executive of the Pahiattia branch of the Farmers' Union to-day discussed in committee industrial difficulties arising from legislation sponsored by the Labour Government. Subsequently a resolution was passed that, in view of the trend of recent legislation, the branch urges on the Dominion executive of the union the vital necessity of taking steps to convene a special Dominion conference to establish compulsorv membership of the Farmers' Union.
