CLAIMS FOB THE COURT. [ Matters of wages and holidays, together with hours for workers attached to' shops, were referred to the Arbitration Court when the conciliation council hearing of the sports goods workers' claim for an award was concluded before Mr. P. Hallv, Conciliation Commissioner, yesterday afternoon. A 40-hour five-day week for workers in factories was agreed on and settlement was reached in connection ~Ti th overtime, which was to be paid for at the rate of time and a half for the first three hour., with double time thereafter.
