MAORI BOY SCALDED.
Severe burns about the face and arms were suffered by Raymond Witiora Royal, aged two, son of Mr. and Mrs. \v llliam Royal, of Surfdale, Waiheke Island, when a teapot was spilled on him yesterday. After being attended 'by e }? C c} John Ambulance officer, Mr. L. ft. Butler, the child was brought to Auckland by boat and removed to the Auckland Hospital. His condition this morning was slightly improved, bat his case is still considered serious.
