Italy and Germany to Attend
Locarno Conference.
CAREFUL PREPARATION URGED (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 31. A Berlin message states that the German Foreign Secretary, Baron von Neurath, informed the British and French Ambassadors and the Belgian Minister that Germany had accepted the Locarno invitation. He emphasised the need for careful diplomatic preparation, especially regarding the programme.
From Rome it is reported that Count Ciano had informed the French Ambassador' and the British and Belgian Charges d'affaires that Italy would be glad, in principle, to participate ,in the Locarno Conference.
