GREEN PEAS.
Green peas that are a few inches high will need a little protection. Even a slight protection makes a difference in the date of the first picking of peas. It is a great liclp to them if a brushwood protection can be made along the exposed side. The brush need not be more than ISin high. Even twiggy sticks about a foot high placed in tho ground alongside the peas will afford a considerable warmth to the young plants.
