JULY BANKRUPTCIES.
AUCKLAND'S LIGHTER LIST.
Bankruptcies filed in Auckland this year continue to be slightly below those for the first seven months of 1035. Compared with seven in July of last year, last month only fotir bankruptcies were filed. The total for the seven months is 24 against 27 last year. The petitions filed last month were those of a gum worker, a miner, a fishmonger and an engine company. No doubt due to tiic depression, there were 63 bankruptcies in 1932 during the first seven months of that year; 41 in 1033. 20 in 1934, 27 in 1935, and 24 so far for 1030.
