ROYAL SHOW.
AT HAMILTON IN 1938?
QUESTION OF FINANCE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Friday. Provided that the promised financial assistance from outside associations is forthcoming, the Waikato A. and P. Association is to apply for the Royal Show to be held in Hamilton in 1935. A special committee appointed to investigate the question of costs and accomodation stated that there were indications that substantial financial assistance would be given by other associations. Another pig pavilion and more room for sheep were required and a canvass for funds for the former was being made.
Methods for raising funds were discussed. and it was resolved to request subscriptions and donations and if sufficient were not forthcoming by that method to ask for guarantees against loss.
