AKARANA YACHT CLUB.
There was a good attendance last Wednesday evening at the Akarana Clubhouse to hear Lieutenant-Commander Lean's lecture on "Small Bout Pilotage and Coastal Navigation." The lecturer was thoroughly at home with his subject, and treated It in a very practical and interesting manner. Mr. T. McKnight proposed the v.gte of thanks, which was heartily carried.'"
