DICKENS' FELLOWSHIP.
At the fortnightly meeting of the Auckland Dickens 3 Fellowship on Thursday night in the Fabian rooms, a further stage was reached in the study of "Bleak House." The president, Mr. H. C. Robinson, was in the chair, and the programme, which comprised chapters 31 to 36, inclusive, was in the hands of Mr. G. Turner, who was assisted by the following members:—Mrs. H. E. Jones, "Jo's Illness"; Miss L. M. Tulloch, "Mr. Skimpole's Alleged Simplicity." Character sketch: "Mr. Krook's Mysterious Death," Messrs. T. Olarkson (Mr. Snagsby), Mr. D. A. jSTeal (Mr. Weevle), Mr. A. E. Grindrod (Mr. Guppy). Dialogue: "The Missing Letters," Mrs. H. 0. Robinson (Lady Dedlock) and Mr. A. E. Grindrod (Mr. Guppy). Sketch: "Grandfather Smallweed Demands Payment," Mr. T. Vivian Smallweed), Mr. J. E. Green (Mr. George), Miss I. Rennie (Judy Smallweed), Mr. G. Cruickshank (Mr. Tulkingliorn).
